Get fit in the sunshine at the Flex on the Beach fitness trail in Bognor Regis - the Sea-nic route to good health!
The 5km trail is made up of exercise stations along a series of circuits and the seafront. The trail runs from West Park in the west and along the seafront to Gloucester Road, with the option to de-tour to Hotham Park before returning to the promenade and along to Longbrook Park.
These circuits are designed to give the opportunity for fun exercise over a small area, a more strenuous workout by linking the circuits together, or the option of just walking the trail while taking in the sea air and sea views.
Pieces include parallel bars, leg presses, hip twister and air walker, as well as routes to encourage people to improve their levels of activity, fitness and health. There are also pieces suitable for people with physical disabilities like the Big Shoulder Wheel, which has wheels at different heights and so is suitable for wheelchair users and younger people.
