Celebrating Sussex Day: A Tribute to Tradition, Heritage, and Community
Every year on 16th June, locals gather to celebrate Sussex Day—an occasion dedicated to honouring the unique heritage and traditions of our beloved region.
Sussex Day was officially established in 2007 by West Sussex County Council. The choice of June 16th is significant as it marks the feast day of Saint Richard of Chichester, the county’s patron saint, who played a crucial role in the history and culture of Sussex.
Whether you're a lifelong resident or a curious visitor, Sussex Day is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the fabulous offerings of Arundel, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton; the towns that make up Sussex by the Sea.
Here are some great ways to celebrate Sussex Day:
Arundel
